New Delhi, June 13: BMW R 1300 GS adventurer bike is launched in India as a CBU (Completely Built-Unit). The all-new R 1300 GS from BMW comes with attractive colour options and a compact design. The all-new BMW R 1300 GS reportedly has a lighter design compared to the BMW R 1250 GS model. According to reports, the bike has a lighter yet powerful engine and new sheet metal. 

BMW Motorrad has introduced its new BMW R 1300 GS in India in three variants – Style GS Trophy, Style Triple Black and Option 719 Tramuntana. On its official website, BMW lists all the features and specifications, highlighting the improved design of its latest adventurer bike. According to the company, the BMW R 1300 GS weighs around 237 kilograms and has a lean angle, breaking and acceleration. BMW R 1300 GS Design, Engine, Features and Other Specifications

BMW’s new motorcycle offers a new design featuring matrix LED headlights, 800 to 890mm seat height, cornering function, electronically adjustable windshield, keyless riding experience, storage option, powerful grips, and different riding modes. Moreover, the BMW R 1300 GS Option 719 top-end variant packs more features in the departments of braking and fuel tank. It packs features like TPMS, cruise control, hill start control, and more.

Performance-wise, the bike features a 1300cc twin air/liquid-cooled twin-cylinder boxer engine with four strokes, delivering maximum 145hp power at 7,750rpm and 149Nm peak torque at 6,500rpm. The new adventurer bike from BMW reportedly offers bidirectional quick shifters that take 3.4 seconds to achieve 0 to 100 kmph. The BMW R 1300 GS offers a top speed of 225 kmph. BMW R 1300 GS Price in India

BMW Motorrad has launched its R 1300 GS at an introductory price of Rs 20.95 lakh in India. According to reports, the bike costs Rs 40,000 more than the BMW R 1250 GS and will compete with other adventurer motorcycles like the Ducati Multistrada V4, Honda Africa Twin and others. Booking for the BMW R 1300 GS is open in India, and deliveries are expected to begin this month.
