New Delhi, June 7: Tata Motors has officially launched the Tata Altroz Racer in India. The Altroz Racer is a sportier version of the standard Altroz, which is expected to transform the hatchback segment with its features and performance. The launch of the Tata Altroz Racer has been much awaited, which is expected to deliver and enhance the driving experience of its customers.
The Altroz Racer was first unveiled at the 2023 Delhi Auto Expo. Tata Motors has equipped the Altroz Racer with advanced specifications and unique design elements that distinguish it from its competitors. The Altroz Racer is anticipated to compete with the Hyundai i20 N Line in India. The Tata Altroz Racer comes with exterior enhancements and an updated interior with new features. Tata Altroz Racer Specifications and Features
The hatchback offers three colour choices, which include Atomic Orange, Pure Grey and Avenue White options. The exterior design features a black finish for the ORVMs, roof, shark fin antenna, spoiler and A, B and C pillars. The body is painted in a base colour of orange, white or grey. The Tata Altroz Racer is available in three variants, which include R1, R2 and R3. The car features “Racer” badging on the front fenders with dual white racing stripes running along the hood and roof, which adds a touch of sportiness to its overall design.
The Altroz Racer is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine capable of producing 120Ps at 5500 rpm and 170Nm of torque at 1750 to 4000 rpm. The engine of the hatchback is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Tata Altroz Racer features a 26.03 cm touchscreen infotainment system, a sunroof, six airbags, a 360-degree camera and parking sensors. As per multiple reports, the car comes with a wheelbase is 2,501mm and measures 3,990mm in length, 1,755mm in width and 1,523mm in height. Tata Altroz Racer Price
The R1 variant is priced at Rs 9,49,000, the R2 variant comes at a price of Rs 10,49,000 and the top variant R3 is priced at Rs 10,99,000. Bookings for the sporty hatchback have already commenced, allowing interested customers to book their Altroz Racer by visiting at the nearest Tata Motors dealership.
