Google’s flagship smartphone had launched in October 2023 with a starting price tag of Rs 75,999 and in less than one year the price of the device has seen a big price drop. Google Pixel 8 price in India has dropped to Rs 61,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. This is a big price revision of around Rs 14,000 from the launch price. Additionally, Flipkart is also providing Rs 8,000 discounts for ICICI Bank Credit Card users. This way, you end up paying just Rs 53,999 for the base model, bringing it closer to the price of Pixel 8a in the country that is available for Rs 52,999.

Google Pixel 8 is also powered by Tensor 3 chipset, along with Titan M2 security chip and runs on Android 14. It comes with a 6.2-inch full HD OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. For selfie lovers, it has a 10.5MP front camera.

The Pixel 8 packs a 4575mAh battery and supports 27W fast charging. It also has wireless charging capabilities. However, Google doesn’t include a fast charger in the box along with the smartphone, just like Apple and Samsung.

The company has promised seven years of security, OS and feature drop updates for the device.
