Following her painful process of getting her lip fillers dissolved, Uorfi Javed shared a new video where she embraced her natural lips.
Uorfi Javed shared the video on her Instagram.
After nearly a decade of enhancing her lips, Uorfi Javed is embracing her natural features again, sparking conversation about cosmetic reversals and evolving beauty ideals in the influencer era.
The internet personality, known for her bold fashion and equally bold opinions, recently took to Instagram to share a deeply personal transformation: the decision to dissolve her lip fillers. The video, a raw mix of vulnerability and humour, begins with a visibly swollen face and lips – an honest glimpse into the immediate aftermath of the procedure. But what follows is more than just a reveal; it’s a reintroduction.
Wearing a crisp white co-ord set: a crop top, skirt, and scarf, Uorfi Javed appeared fresh-faced and unfiltered as the swelling subsided. In her signature style, she captioned the video with tongue-in-cheek flair: “Shrek or Jasmine?” It was self-aware, funny, and entirely on-brand.
Take a look at the video here.
Fans were quick to notice the shift not just in appearance but in attitude. Uorfi has previously been candid about undergoing lip enhancement to reduce smile lines and add volume, a journey she documented during her reality show Follow Kar Lo Yaar. But this time, she took a different approach. “No, this is not a filter,” she clarified in an earlier post from the hospital, as a doctor injected her lips with hyaluronidase – the enzyme used to break down hyaluronic acid fillers.
“Dissolving is painful,” she admitted, adding a word of caution about choosing the right medical professionals. “All these doctors with fancy clinics know nothing. Finally, I found @dr.rickson – trust me, he’s the best.”
Her transparency around the procedure sheds light on the often-overlooked aspects of aesthetic treatments: the reversals, regrets, and redos. In an industry saturated with perfection, Uorfi’s decision to rewind instead of enhance feels like a refreshing, if unexpected, twist.
She hasn’t ruled out getting fillers again. She mentioned that she would get fillers “naturally.” Her current choice taps into a broader conversation around authenticity, self-image, and reclaiming control over one’s face and narrative.
